Skyblock: Getting Started Guide (The Basics)
When you first join Skyblock, your very first step is to create your island.
You can do this by typing: /island new —or by jumping into the Island Creation Portal at spawn.
Once your island is created, it becomes your personal home base. You can return to it at any time using: /island
💰 Step 1: Start Earning Money
After settling onto your island, your next goal is to start making some money. The easiest method for beginners is the mines.
Type /mines
A menu will appear with all available mines
Since you're new, only the first mine will be unlocked
Select it and begin mining ores for profit
Once your inventory starts to fill up, return to spawn with: /spawn
Then sell your items to the Shop Merchant to earn your first bit of cash.
🌾 Step 2: Build Your Island’s Income
As you earn money, more options open up:
Create farms to grow and sell crops
Use ore generators to produce valuable blocks
Sell items on the Auction House for higher player-driven prices
These methods help you progress quickly and give you the freedom to develop your island however you like.
