Skyblock: How the Economy Works
In Skyblock, item values shift over time depending on how easy it is for players to make money. The main income sources include ore generators, mines, mob spawners, and farms—each helping players progress at different speeds.
As the season progresses, the maximum enchant levels on tools and weapons gradually increase. These higher-tier enchants typically come from monthly crates, tiered crates, or other progression rewards. Stronger enchants lead to much more efficient money-making.
For example:
A sword with high Looting gives significantly more mob drops
More drops = more items to sell = more income
Meanwhile, lower Looting produces fewer drops and slower profit
Because of this power progression, item prices naturally rise over time as players gain access to stronger tools.
One of the most important parts of the Skyblock economy is item skins. Their prices are entirely player-driven, not fixed by the server. A skin’s value depends on two major factors:
How easy it is to make money at that point in the season
How rare or old the skin is
In general, older and rarer skins tend to be worth significantly more than newer or common ones.
